TaqTaqTaq Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

TaqTaqTaq ("the app") is made by Tibrcode Software Development, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates ("Tibrcode", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. It applies to the app on Android, iOS and the web.

The short version

Information that stays on your device

Your settings (bubble size, plastic, sound, vibration, theme, language and screen lock), whether you finished the tutorial, and your stats and achievements (pop counts, best scores, days in a row and medals) are saved only on your device. On the web they are saved in your browser's storage. To show text, the web version loads fonts from Google Fonts; like any internet request, this shares your IP address with Google. The home screen widget on Android keeps which of its bubbles are popped on your device too. We can't see any of this, and it is deleted when you delete the app or clear your browser data.

The words you write in Pop your worries are kept only in the app's memory while they are on the screen. They are never saved or sent anywhere, and the app asks your keyboard not to learn or suggest them.

The app reads your device's motion sensor to move the light across the bubbles when you tilt it. These readings are used instantly on your device. They are never stored or sent anywhere.

The app does not use your microphone, camera, contacts, photos or location.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC, to show banner ads outside the bubble sheet. We have set AdMob up in the strictest way available:

To show ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud, Google's ads software may still receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, information about your device and the app, and how you interact with the ads. Google's use of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and on how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Worldwide counter

The worldwide counter shows how many bubbles all TaqTaqTaq users have popped together. To add your pops, the app sends one number (how many bubbles you popped since the last time) about once a minute while you pop, and when you leave the app. It sends nothing else: no account, no advertising ID, no device ID and nothing you type.

The counter runs on our server hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our service provider. Like any internet request, it carries your IP address. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the request and to limit abuse, and our server doesn't store it. The only thing we keep is the total.

The counter is on by default. Turn it off at any time in Settings under Privacy, or on the stats page.

Sharing your results

When you tap Share, the app creates the image or text on your device and opens your device's share menu. You choose where to send it. We don't receive anything you share.

Update checks

To tell you when a new version is available, the app asks Google Play (on Android) or the App Store (on iOS) for the latest version, and downloads a small version file from taqtaqtaq.com. These requests contain no personal information beyond the technical data that every internet request includes, such as your IP address. Our website host may keep this in standard server logs for a short time, and we don't use it to identify you.

Children

TaqTaqTaq is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Ads are configured for children as described above, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, contact us.

Sharing and selling

We don't sell or share personal information, including as "selling" and "sharing" are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). The only third parties involved are Google, as described in the Advertising section, and Cloudflare, which runs the worldwide counter for us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict its processing. These rights come from laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the CCPA/CPRA in California, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and Brazil's LGPD.

Because we don't collect personal data ourselves, we usually have nothing to give you, but write to us and we'll help, including with questions about data Google processes for ads. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The app doesn't send your settings or stats anywhere. The worldwide counter and our website use encrypted connections (HTTPS).

International transfers

Google may process advertising data, and Cloudflare may handle requests to the worldwide counter, in countries other than yours, under the safeguards described in their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and in the app and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app.
